Ilocos Escapade

There are many things happening in the world, well most specifically in our country, wars ,poverty, lack of labor etc. many problems that we cannot solve in just a snap of fingers. That's why I realized that im so lucky to have an opportunity to still relax,do whatever i want and at least travel/visit other places. So i think its much better, if we still can,to do the things our hearts desires so that by the end of the day we will not regret anything, just make sure what you will do,will not harm other. Going back to my real post hehe (Im just so affected by the crisis in Mindanao), last May 10-11 my Mother-in-law invited us to travel in Vigan and Pagudpud for her birthday celebration, actually yearly we travel for her birthday but we always went to Batangas(like a yearly summer outing) so this year for a change they decided to visit Ilocos Region. As i mention in my recent post that whenever I travel I first search for the places or tourist spot that we can visit so Im so excited to visit all of the things that I saw on other travel blogs that i read. So we left on Tues thats May 9 at 10:00 pm and we arrived in Vigan at 6:00am,since its still early most stores and restaurants are still close so we just enjoy taking pictures in Calle Crisologo and ended up eating in a Karinderya(Diner) which is out of Vigan already, and a very bad decision and a not nice experience, food was not delicious the rice is uncooked and it its expensive for a Karenderya!blah!anyway due to lack of time we just visited the very famous Calle Crisologo in Vigan Ilocos Sur,unfortunately there's still a loooooot of places to visit in Ilocos Sur. We hit the road again heading to Pagudpud where we will be staying, we left at 9:00am and we arrived at 1:00pm(we had a stop over in Laog to visit the market). *********************** Description above was my draft 2 years ago,I wasn’t able to finish it until now. I will just post photos of our trip. (I visited Ilocos Sur and Norte again this year with my high school friends)

Experience in San Antonio Zambales

Its been a long time since my last post and I'm really excited to write and to share again my travel experience. Unlike others I rarely travel (many reasons e.g my kids and of course money) so when I do or have a chance I always make plans accordingly. Last 2013 my High school friends and I visited Potipot Island in Zambales as well, and I was the one who searched for the place etc. and Im so proud that my friends like it. So this time i also organize and search for it,although we already planned visiting Anawangin last 2015 ,unfortunately some of us cant make it so the plans was cancelled. But as we miss each other and everyone is willing to join we planned to visit San Antonio last April 1- 2, 2017. San Antonio is very near compare to Candelaria Zambales (where Potipot Island is) so everyone is excited. We headed to Brgy. Pundaquit which is the drop off for Coves like Anawangin, Nagsasa etc.,actually those coves are known for camping but since we have Baby in the group(my friends son) and some of us wants a comfortable place and stay so we didn't choose to camp instead we rented a room in Brgy. Pundaquit near the shore of West Philippine Sea i think. "Our room has 1 queen size bed and a Double bed, an AC and clean bathroom and clean water for PHP4200 2 days" "Just outside the room where we eat and cook our food(we visited Subic public market before heading to San Antonio its juts 46 mins away)"
"Theres a POSO,a water pump, were we wash the dishes, theres also a public restroom available"
"The shore of Brgy.Pundaquit"
"The original plan was to Island hop from Camara Island(Left) to Capones Island(Right) on our second day but for some unknown reason that the universe is making fun with us,at 2pm on our first day the waves went huge so the coast guard alert everyone and announced that no boat will sail that afternoon or until announced, were still hoping that tomorrow that day we can visit the highlight of the place.....and YEP!we werent able to visit the Island although theres no alert from coast guard and we can still see boats heading to the Coves like Anawangin, sadly we had an argumennt with the Room Owner which she is also a member of organization of boats owners in the place because we insist of leaving despite of big waves, anyway we gave up and just enjoy the rest of our time and company of one another instead of crying our selves haha. Here are some of our photos"
"Our youngest member,Ace!"
"My friend there was eaten by the waves while her hubby is taking his selfie.lol"
"If you cant beat the wave join 'em. Char!"
"Back pose with love"
"To be honest we are not satisfied with our stay since we werent able to see and experience the real tourist spot and the highlight of the place, and Im a bit disappointed because like I said I was the one who organize and choose the place, but were still happy with the bonding the endless laughter, jokes and stories we shared that we can treasure. Hopefully there's next time with them again,so until next time!Bye"

Cloud 9 Restaurant and Hotel 360 ° Antipolo Rizal

Back log!back log!I  want to share this experience when my family visited Cloud 9 Restaurant in Antipolo Rizal. Its nice to know that there's a lot of beautiful place(restaurants, recreational place etc.) here in Rizal which is so near the metro especially in Antipolo which is now known in a lot of  Bars and Restaurants. Actually Cloud 9 is one of many roads in Antipolo which is very steep that you can see the whole metro while driving. We need to pass a lot of sloping road so we can park and get in the restaurant.

This is the half(Left side) of the Restaurant
Its a 2 story resto ,this one is in the 1st floor.

My family,we chose a table upstairs so we can see the beautiful view and feel the fresh air. I bet the view is more beautiful at night.
We ordered, clubhouse sandwich, pansit and lumpiang shanghai
Cheese stick and Chicken wings we also ordered halo-halo.
Its delicious but its too expensive for the serving and they don't have budget or combo meals.

The half of the resto has a lot of mementos about the History of Antipolo and their Patron Saint.

 Pictures of sceneries in Antipolo
 Old calendars
 Magazine and newspaper clips

they also have a lot of wood sculptures

Whats more exciting in this place is going to Hotel 360° because  theres two way, either this bridge
Or this way

What do you prefer?lol
At the hotel theres a lot of paintings every floor and every wall,to be honest its a bit creepy in the place maybe because its old and i think the hotel is in renovation process so theres no personnel or attendant, you can freely roam everywhere(except entering the rooms)

This room I think is where they made or do the paintings.
When you reach the top, which is the 5th floor, you can see the stunning view, perfect for your selfie moment.

So there, I hope ill have time and of course money to visit a lot of places like this 'cause i really enjoy the place and the ambiance. Until my next adventure XO
