Experience in San Antonio Zambales

Its been a long time since my last post and I'm really excited to write and to share again my travel experience. Unlike others I rarely travel (many reasons e.g my kids and of course money) so when I do or have a chance I always make plans accordingly. Last 2013 my High school friends and I visited Potipot Island in Zambales as well, and I was the one who searched for the place etc. and Im so proud that my friends like it. So this time i also organize and search for it,although we already planned visiting Anawangin last 2015 ,unfortunately some of us cant make it so the plans was cancelled. But as we miss each other and everyone is willing to join we planned to visit San Antonio last April 1- 2, 2017. San Antonio is very near compare to Candelaria Zambales (where Potipot Island is) so everyone is excited. We headed to Brgy. Pundaquit which is the drop off for Coves like Anawangin, Nagsasa etc.,actually those coves are known for camping but since we have Baby in the group(my friends son) and some of us wants a comfortable place and stay so we didn't choose to camp instead we rented a room in Brgy. Pundaquit near the shore of West Philippine Sea i think. "Our room has 1 queen size bed and a Double bed, an AC and clean bathroom and clean water for PHP4200 2 days" "Just outside the room where we eat and cook our food(we visited Subic public market before heading to San Antonio its juts 46 mins away)"
"Theres a POSO,a water pump, were we wash the dishes, theres also a public restroom available"
"The shore of Brgy.Pundaquit"
"The original plan was to Island hop from Camara Island(Left) to Capones Island(Right) on our second day but for some unknown reason that the universe is making fun with us,at 2pm on our first day the waves went huge so the coast guard alert everyone and announced that no boat will sail that afternoon or until announced, were still hoping that tomorrow that day we can visit the highlight of the place.....and YEP!we werent able to visit the Island although theres no alert from coast guard and we can still see boats heading to the Coves like Anawangin, sadly we had an argumennt with the Room Owner which she is also a member of organization of boats owners in the place because we insist of leaving despite of big waves, anyway we gave up and just enjoy the rest of our time and company of one another instead of crying our selves haha. Here are some of our photos"
"Our youngest member,Ace!"
"My friend there was eaten by the waves while her hubby is taking his selfie.lol"
"If you cant beat the wave join 'em. Char!"
"Back pose with love"
"To be honest we are not satisfied with our stay since we werent able to see and experience the real tourist spot and the highlight of the place, and Im a bit disappointed because like I said I was the one who organize and choose the place, but were still happy with the bonding the endless laughter, jokes and stories we shared that we can treasure. Hopefully there's next time with them again,so until next time!Bye"
